Two Journies

Often parents shame or embarrassment of their child plays too large a role in the relationship that parent holds with their child. You are not responsible for and can not take control of your child's journey. It is also too big a burden to force them to be responsible for your feelings of embarrassment and or shame. They will make mistakes and you have the choice to take pride in being a parent and pride in the relationship or you can depend on your child's actions to define you.
